Beginning October 20, 2020, ALL 2nd Graders in South Carolina will be taking tests required by the South Carolina Department of Education. They will be taking the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAt) and the Iowa Assessment (IA). These tests will help our district determine eligibility for the gifted and talented program in the Chesterfield County School District. Testing will end on November 2, 2020 and includes both face-to-face and virtual learners. Please make sure your child gets a good night‘s sleep and arrive to school on time.
A-Day (face-to-face) students will test on Tuesday, October 20th and Thursday, October 22nd. B-Day (face-to-face) students will test on Wednesday, October 21st and Friday, October 23rd. Virtual student schedules will be sent out by Ms. Johnson (school counselor) and virtual teachers.
